The Eagle Eye Networks, specialized in ‘Security in the Cloud’, has also decided to present itself to New Security visitors in Leuven on 13 and 14 February. The emphasis is on Brivo, a cloud platform for electronic access management. This complements the camera surveillance in the cloud.

Brivo actually works in the same way as the camera surveillance of Eagle Eye Networks. Only components are installed on location, such as card readers and motor locks. These components are connected to a ‘bridge’, which, as a heavily secured modem, ensures the connection to the ‘cloud’. That cloud is formed by a network of servers on which the software for the security systems runs. If such a server fails, there are always at least two others who do the work. This provides a very high reliability, which the customer does not have to worry about. Brivo can be seamlessly integrated with camera surveillance. This is useful if, for example, someone offers an invalid pass and the security manager wants to have an immediate picture of it. It can also be looked at what is going on if a door remains open for too long.

Eagle Eye Networks can be found at stand 5.13.
