In 1988, PODS invented the concept of portable storage containers. Today, the company has more than 170,000 PODS containers and 230 PODS Storage Centers throughout North America. Since PODS has so many locations, finding a video surveillance solution, which would allow them to manage their storage centers remotely using a single system, was a challenge.
PODS doesn’t have staff on-site after business hours, so their management team also wanted the ability to set alerts for loitering in and around their facilities. The Eagle Eye Cloud VMS was the ideal solution for PODS because they’re able to view their locations remotely from any mobile device. They can also receive real-time alerts when motion is occurring in a pre-defined area at any of their locations.
