Feature immediately available to both new and existing customers due to cloud management

AUSTIN, Texas, November 25, 2014 – Eagle Eye Networks today announced that all Eagle Eye Bridge and CMVR appliances now support local display monitors; both new and existing customers have immediate access to this new feature. The local display monitor viewing supplements existing remote video viewing on mobile devices.

Users can now directly connect a local display monitor to their Eagle Eye on-premise appliance to display continuous live or recorded video from one or more live cameras; multiple camera feeds can be viewed simultaneously. The monitor can be connected directly via a VGA, HDMI or DVI cables, depending on the Eagle Eye Bridge or CMVR model.

Automatic Upgrade is key benefit of Eagle Eye Networks Cloud-managed System

Surveillance personnel can immediately enable the new local display monitor feature via their system dashboard. The cloud-based Eagle Eye Security Camera Video Management System has been automatically updated, so there are no downloads or manual updates required.
“When you purchase a DVR or NVR, you are permanently limited to the functionality available at the time of purchase, beginning the countdown to system obsolescence,” said Dean Drako. “In contrast, Eagle Eye Networks continuously ensures your system is up-to-date with the latest technologies through our automatic cloud-managed updates. This new local display monitor support is one example, and follows our recent announcements about interactive camera mapping and mobile installation functionality.”
