Job Description:

The Eagle Eye Networks Product Management Team manages the definition, design, and launch of cutting edge, cloud based video surveillance offerings. Our Product Team is responsible for the end-to-end success of new products and features to delight our customers while improving the safety and security of their businesses.

We are significantly investing in product and engineering roles to meet the rapidly growing demand for our products.  You will work closely with Software and Hardware Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Dev Ops to develop the next generation of Eagle Eye’s products. You will also be the expert on our solutions, gather customer feedback and understand customer needs and use cases, and develop a product roadmap that accelerates our growth and impact for our customers.

The Eagle Eye VMS is the Flagship product for Eagle Networks.  As the product manager for the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS you will be responsible for building the future of our platform.  You will work closely with sales, engineering and marketing teams to understand customer needs, translate them to legible requirements and then train the marketing team on the new capabilities and features.  This role will frequently be responsible for presenting to customers and the Eagle Eye executive team.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate user and marketing requirements to clear software requirement specification
  • Provide technical guidelines, assistance and leadership specific to cloud video surveillance.
  • Bridge the knowledge gap between Marketing, Engineering, Sales and Support to serve as a subject matter expert within the organization for support escalations and organizational education.
  • Coordinate and align product release cycles, timelines and deadlines against road maps and priorities. 
  • Manage and develop product backlog, as well as user stories backlog for implementation.
  • Acts as liaison between the delivery team and business groups by providing clear cross-functional communication of development timelines, scope, and implications.
  • Guide and manage alpha and beta programs.
  • Lead the creation of the complete and compelling product content for sales and support collateral, web, user guides, blogs and forums
  • Monitor product performance and proactively identifies opportunities for product improvements.

  • Ability to clearly communicate and work well in cross-functional teams; excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public.
  • Superior time management skills; proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent project planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for producing high-quality work, focusing on the customer’s needs and established business objectives.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time as required.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or Business required; technical degree is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Proven history of success in product management preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in product management for system level offerings that include hardware, software and service.
  • Experience leading complex projects to successful outcomes.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience in video surveillance and/or physical security is a plus
  • Experience in web/cloud computing is a plus.
