Eagle Eye Networks, which develops the video cloud business globally, holds seminars on the theme of “Future of Video Surveillance” AI Cloud and Cyber Security “on Shibuya Dogenzaka in Tokyo on January 18th. To the seminar that will be held for the first time in Japan, a large number of visitors came to see the high interest in the image cloud.

In holding the seminar, Priscilla Lin, Asia Pacific’s director, greeted and introduced the reverse history of Drako CEO. After that, CEO Drako made a lecture entitled “The Future of Video Surveillance”.

In terms of video surveillance, customer expectations include cyber security, reduction of total cost, remote access by mobile, improvement of reliability, advocating the need for a system that includes functions to respond to these demands. In video surveillance, the analysis and the expectation for AI are high, but as a reason for that, it is possible to bring automation to security, which showed that the operation cost can be reduced and the accuracy can be improved.

And analysis, AI solution introduces good compatibility with the data on the cloud. With data on the cloud, enormous amounts of calculations can be performed, enormous storage can be realized at low cost.

“The storage and management of all video surveillance will be done on the cloud, we do not have to wonder if it will happen, but we must think about when it will happen” (Drako CEO) He emphasized that he was interested.

Introduction of survey results that the majority of companies are introducing the cloud and customer’s interest is high with regard to video cloud. In addition to both partners / end users, I explained that there is the advantage of introducing a video cloud regardless of the size of the system.

An example of the introduction of video cloud, and future image by utilizing video cloud is also presented. It said that standardization is the key in expanding the popularization of video clouds.
