Simplify cloud security services and reduce paperwork with the convenience of yearly subscriptions. Eagle Eye Networks offers the flexibility for customers to choose between monthly and yearly billing, but there are multiple benefits to yearly subscriptions for both customers and dealers.

There are savings with an annual subscription. Customers choosing to pay for their cloud surveillance service for the year receive a discounted rate compared to month-to-month payment plans.

For both customers and security providers a yearly bill means fewer billing discussions and no monthly bill processing. Dealers can reduce the headache of tracking late or missed payments, save paper by scaling back the number of invoices, and improve accounting efficiency.

Eagle Eye Networks cloud-based VMS (video management system) already reduces system maintenance hassles with automatic security, software, and feature updates that require no action from the customer or dealer. A yearly subscription further reduces required actions to maintain their state-of-the-art surveillance system.

Flexible Business Surveillance Solutions

The flexibility of the Eagle Eye VMS does not change with a yearly subscription – customers are still able to make changes to their system at any time. This includes adding new cameras, adjusting retention periods and resolution, and adding or deleting video analytics for any cameras connected to the cloud VMS. This flexibility – also referred to as rapid elasticity – is one of the features of cloud systems as defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Any system changes are automatically tracked and noted for Eagle Eye dealers with Eagle Eye’s measured service. Measured service also ensures predictable data center costs and accurate pricing for yearly accounts.

With the new Eagle Eye invoices, dealers will be alerted when yearly accounts need additional funds if a customer adds new features or increases retention. If there are deletions or subscription reductions, the yearly account is credited for unused funds and noted in the balance on the invoice.

Eagle Eye dealers still receive a monthly reconciliation of subscription activity on yearly accounts. These are included in the monthly invoice.

The discount that comes with a yearly subscription is one added value for businesses using or considering a cloud-based surveillance system like Eagle Eye Networks. Cloud CCTV systems also provide lower up-front costs as well as a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) when compared to traditional on-premises surveillance systems.
